Veritas Live-in Care

Care at Home with a Personal Touch

Veritas Care specialises in providing high quality and affordable live-in care. We bring a new approach in caring to the UK, developed through our years of experience in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Ireland and UK. Over the past 8 years, we have served more than 20,000 families throughout Europe.

Providing high-quality care is a must, so our services are designed to meet the highest standards. Our prices are generally 40% lower than average care rates in the UK. Most of our carers come from Poland and Eastern Europe. They are paid a rate that offers them a living wage and keeps care affordable for you.

Friendly Service

When providing live-in care for an elderly person or someone with special needs, it is very important to have a friendly and empathetic attitude towards the client. Carers, who provide their services through our agency, are carefully selected in terms of their experience, education, skills and proficiency in English.

They are subject to extensive screening methods and background checks. In most cases, Veritas Live-in Care will present several candidates to our clients and their families, so that they can decide on who will take care of their loved ones.

At Veritas Group, we have vast experience in hiring top quality live-in carers. Our offices are located across many cities in Poland, Germany and the UK from where we try to find the best candidates to provide care services for our clients. Currently, around 1,800 of our carers work across Europe. The Live-in Care 24+ model that we are introducing to the UK market is based on a proven system of live-in care for elderly and ill people in Germany and Austria.

A Complete Live-in Care Service

As an agency of live-in carers with a long tradition and strong work ethic, we work hard to meet all the expectations of our clients. On one hand, we help families looking for carers. On the other hand, we help candidates who are looking for a placement.

The selection and recruitment process begin when our care agency is contacted by the families of the client. After receiving the filled-out form, one of our qualified consultants gets in touch with the person interested in  live-in home care services.

This is followed with an initial telephone conversation aimed at getting to know the clients’ expectations better. We try to understand their needs to determine how our carers can help. During the telephone conversation, we ask the client to complete the Care Assessment form. This form helps us to learn more about the client – their overall health, habits and their preferences, regarding the type of carer they want.

After receiving the completed Care Assessment form, our consultant tries to match the client with the most suitable caregiver from our 20,000+ carer’s database. In most cases, we come up with a number of suitable candidates to let the client choose the one best suited for them. If the desired match is not in our database, we try to find the right person by placing job advertisements, specifying the client requirements.

Once our recruiters have matched all the appropriate candidates who fulfil the criteria, we forward the profiles of the carers to the client’s family to select the one they would like to hire. At this stage, we also facilitate a telephone conversation or Skype interview between the carer and the family, so that they can get to know each other before the decision is finalized.

If everything goes well and the family or the client accepts the terms of cooperation, we send them a written contract for signing. We also help liaise between the parties so that everything, including the logistics, is in place and our carer is fully prepared to take care of the patient and maybe even become their new friend.
