Care at home with a personal touch.
Veritas Care specialises in high quality, low-cost live-in care. We introduce a new approach to the UK, developed through our experience in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Ireland and UK where we have served more than 18,000 customers over the past 7 years. Quality is a must in Germany, so our services are subject to the highest standards. Our prices are generally 40% lower than average care rates in UK. Most of our carers come from Poland and Eastern Europe – they are paid at rates that offer them a living wage and keep care affordable for you.
When providing the live-in care for an elderly or ill person, it is very important that the carer who carries out the care has a friendly and empathetic attitude towards the client. Carers, who are introduced by our agency are carefully selected in terms of their experience, education, level of English and are subject to the extensive screening methods. Very often, Veritas Live-in Care will present several candidates, so the family can decide who will take care of their loved ones.
In Veritas Group, we have extensive experience in acquiring top quality live-in carers. Our offices are located in many cities in Poland, Germany and UK from where we aim at finding the best candidates to provide the care service. The Live-in Care 24+ model that we are introducing to the UK market is based on a proven system of live-in care for elderly and ill people in Germany and Austria. Currently, around 1,800 of our carers work across Europe.
As an agency of live-in carers with a long tradition and strong work ethic, we work hard to meet all the expectations of families looking for carers and candidates looking for a placement. The selection and recruitment process starts already upon first contact with our care agency by the families of the client. After submitting the contact form, one of our qualified consultants will make the first contact with the person interested in home care services.
The contact starts with an initial telephone conversation aimed at getting to know the clients’ expectations and learning more about their needs. During the telephone conversation, we ask the client to complete the Care Assessment form, from which we will learn more about the client – their overall health, habits and their preferences regarding the type of carer. After receiving the completed Care Assessment form, we will start to match the suitable candidate from our 20,000+ carer’s database and if the desired match is not in our database, we will try to find the right person by placing job advertisements specifying the expectations.
Once our recruiters match the appropriate candidates who fulfil the criteria, we will send the profile of the carer to the family (client) for their acceptance. We also offer a telephone conversation or Skype interview between the carer and the family, so that they can get to know each other before the arrival. If everything goes well and the family or the service user accept the terms of cooperation, we send them contracts and then we liaise between the parties so that everything including the logistic is in place and our carer is fully prepared to take care of the patient and maybe even becoming their new friend.
