Live in carers are permanently based at Client’s home, and that means they are always there, for the good and for the bad. They share happy moments, and they can help in case of emergencies. Our live-in carers work only for one client. Many people prefer this personal touch, rather than organised but grouped life in a care home. Having a carer enables elderly people to go out and about and take part in a variety of activities. They may go for a GP appointment, can visit friends, go to the church, visit a gallery, etc. While assisting with the social part of life, our carers provide non-medical help with looking after the person in care and their home. This may include, but is not limited to:

• Washing, bathing, shaving, continence care and the toilet,
• Help with light housework, including cleaning and laundry
• Shopping and cooking,
• Looking after family pets and plants,
